YELLOWSTONE, GRAND CANYON, BRANSON AND LAS VEGAS

Mt. Rushmore

Day 1: We begin our great western journey aboard your deluxe Conestoga Tours motorcoach as we travel to Richmond, IN. The friendships that you make on this tour and the memories of the sights and entertainment are sure to last a long time. 
Day 2: We continue west, arriving in St. Louis, the gateway city to the West. You'll be on your own to explore the many fine restaurants.
Day 3: If you are not familiar with Branson, MO, you will be after today. We arrive in time to attend the afternoon matinee at one of the popular Branson shows. Following dinner, we attend a second show in Branson. A great day of entertainment! (D)
Day 4: Before departing Branson, we will start the day out with a fun ride on the "amphibious ducks" that will take us on a unique land-water tour. We continue west, arriving in Oklahoma City.
Day 5: We catch a couple of movies on your VCR-equipped motorcoach as we travel to Albuquerque, NM.
Day 6: We arrive in Arizona and tour the Petrified Forest before arriving in Flagstaff.
Day 7: The most spectacular sight in North America, the Grand Canyon, is on our agenda this morning. We'll journey along the south rim and give you ample time for pictures. We'll also visit Grand Canyon Village to allow you to purchase that special gift. We continue on to Las Vegas, where we spend two nights at the Imperial Palace.
Day 8: This morning we tour the Hoover Dam, one of the world's greatest engineering feats. This afternoon will be free in Las Vegas.
Day 9: Today will be a travel day to Salt Lake City and our overnight accommodations for the next two nights at the Hampton Inn.
Day 10: We tour Salt Lake City this morning, including the Mormon Tabernacle. The afternoon will be free to enjoy Salt Lake City.
Day 11: We continue north to the picture postcard town of Jackson Hole, located at the foot of the spectacular Teton Mountains. You'll have time to browse around the village, where we may even see a famous celebrity.

 

Day 12: It's a short journey to wonderful Yellowstone Park. A local guide will direct us to all regions of the park, including Mammoth Hot Springs and Old Faithful. Tonight you will be our guests for dinner in the park. The night will be spent in Yellowstone Park. (D)
Day 13: We complete our tour of Yellowstone Park today before heading east to the town of Cody. Tonight put on your western gear as we attend the Cody Rodeo for some bronco-busting fun.
Day 14: A visit to the Buffalo Bill Museum will be a highlight of this morning's schedule before we continue to Rapid City, SD. 
Day 15: We tour Mt. Rushmore this morning and give you the chance for an up-close view of the famous monument. We also tour through the Badlands and visit Wall Drug Store and the Corn Palace in Mitchell. We stay overnight in Mitchell.
Day 16: We continue east, arriving at the popular Wisconsin Dells. Tonight we attend the Tommy Bartlett Water Show, which includes over 27 acts in one of our country's most popular water shows.
Day 17: We embark on a spectacular Upper Dells boat cruise through the majestic sandstorm bluffs that cradle the mighty Wisconsin River. A final farewell dinner this evening in Sour Bend, IN allows everyone to exchange tales of our western journey before traveling to Fremont, IN. (D)
Day 18: Bid farewell to your travel companions as we return home around 6:00 P.M.
