Agawa CanyonDay 1: We travel west today entente to Dearborn, MI for our first night's lodging. Dinner is included tonight. (D)
Day 2: Following breakfast, we tour the Henry Ford Museum a- Greenfield Village, depicting the sweeping changes that transformed America into a dynamic industrial society. We continue to the charming town of Frankenmuth, where we allow free time to explore the town and its famous Christmas shops. We continue to Mackinac Island aboard the ferry and the luxurious Island House for two memorable nights. Enjoy a delicious dinner along the enchanting village streets and some free time to stroll (B, D)
Day 3: We've included breakfast and a captivating guided tour of the island in a horse-drawn carriage. The magic continues as we enjoy the famous buffet lunch at the Grand Hotel. The bountiful buffet extends over 100 feet in length! Your afternoon is free to explore the shops and relax on the Island House porch with your favorite cocktail before dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 4: After breakfast, we bid good-bye to Mackinac, leave the ferry and board our motorcoach to travel to Sault Ste. Marie. Later we embark on a ferry to St. Ignace, gateway to the Upper Peninsula and the Soo Locks. Reservations have been made for you to take a two-hour narrated tour through the world-famous Soo Locks, an experience you 11 always remember. Our host for two nights is the Holiday Inn Sault St. Marie. (B)
Day 5: We're off on a scenic experience as we board the Agawa Canyon Train for a ride through Agawa Canyon, where you will view beautiful fall scenery. Breakfast and lunch are included today. (B, L)
Day 6: We journey to the magnificent Niagara Falls, our home for the evening,
Day 7: We view the awesome beauty of the Falls atop Minolta Tower, where we also enjoy a full Canadian breakfast. We return home from our wonderful excursion to Michigan and Canada around 9:00 P.M. (B)

 

 

 

 

 

Day 1: Enjoy the beauty of New England in the fall as well as fantastic food as we travel through Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Our wide variety of attractions and dining selections makes a great fall foliage tour. Welcome to Maine! We check into your south coast hotel in the Kennebunkport area. A traditional Maine lobster bake with musical sing-along entertainment is included tonight. (D) Taste of New England in the Fall
Day 2: After an included breakfast, it's off on a lobster boat cruise. Learn how lobster traps are baited and hauled as you see with your own eyes how the crustaceans are harvested from the sea. After your fun and educational cruise, travel to Maine's largest "city by the sea." Make a stop at Portland Head Light, one of the country's oldest and most photographed lighthouses. Enjoy lunch on your own in Portland's historic waterfront district, the "Old Port." This afternoon travel to Lincoln, NH, enjoying the scenic ride through the lakes region and into the White Mountains, home to New England's tallest peaks. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening. (B, D)
Day 3: After an included breakfast, ride the enclosed gondola to the top of Loon Mountain. Return to the base of the mountain and depart for Hobo Railroad. As you ride through the mountains, marvel at he beauty and enjoy an included picnic-style lunch. We now travel to Vermont and visit a maple sugarhouse and sac-pie the New England treat known as "sugar-on-snow." Dinner is included this evening after arriving at your Vermont hotel. (B, L, D)
Taste of New England in the Fall Day 4: After an included breakfast, travel to Billings Farm, a premier working dairy farm and living museum of Vermont's rural past. Find out if it's true: are there more cows than people living in Vermont? Travel to Massachusetts to Yankee Candle Factory, where lunch is on your own at the candle complex. Step back in time and watch candles being made using methods practiced centuries ago, and give it a try yourself in their candle dipping program! The next stop is at the unique Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory and Gardens, where you will be surrounded by butterflies in a beautiful indoor garden setting. Overnight in the lovely area of western Massachusetts. Dinner at a classic New England inn is included. (B, D)
Day 5: Our New England tour comes to an end today as we travel through fall foliage enroute home. We return early evening. (B)
